Redeem Starpoints for Airline Tickets
Starwood Preferred Guest, introduced a new benefit, SPG Flights, where you can redeem your points for paid airline tickets without blackout dates. Here's the link to the Frequently Asked Question on this feature.
The redemption chart for the SPG Flights benefit is as follows:

*Values are 1.2-1.5 cents per point.
Due to recent flight cuts and added fees and "enhancements", it's becoming harder to redeem miles at 25K miles level nor worthwhile cost wise and this new feature looks attractive to some.
Please keep it mind that you get better value out of Starpoints when you redeem for hotel stays.
If you are looking to add more SPG points, you can get up to 40K points for getting for personal AmEx SPG card and 10K points for getting AmEx SPG Small Business Card. Both card waives the annual fee of $45 first year.

If you like to shop at Border's, sign up for its reward program with your email address. You will receive various discount coupons often.
Current Coupon:
30% off the list price of one item with purchase of $10 or more with 2/24/08 expiration.
Expired Coupons:
40% off the list price of any book with $20 purchase and it expires Feb 19, 2008.
For those who hasn't sign up for the Border's Rewards program, Border sent out 40% Off the List Price of Any Single-Disc Music CD coupon good up to 3 CDs. If you thinking about getting CDs for the Valentine's this will save some $. The coupon expires on Feb 13, 2008.

Sign Up Sony Visa Card & $100 Discount on PS3
1) Do you have good credit score, 2) don't mine getting a few points knocked off (your credit score) and 3) in market to buy Sony PS 3?
You can get $100 discount on PS3 when you apply and get approved for a Sony Visa card (issued by Chase). Secondly, you get 12 month interest free financing on any purchases over $299.
BTW, currently PSs3 is the only Blue-ray player that is compatible with future changes to Blue-ray specifications.
P.S. If you are thinking about getting 80GB model you may want to wait a little since 80GB model is going to be replaced with 120GB and 160GB versions soon.
